Privacy notice for Webgardenhub enquiries

What we collect

From the contact form: name, email, optional operator or app name, selected engagement, and the message you write. From email or phone: the same kinds of business contact details. From the site: technical logs our host may keep (IP address, time, page path) and, if you accept cookies, a visit count as described on the cookies page.

We do not ask for identity-card numbers, full customer dumps, or live account passwords. Please do not paste them into the form.

Why we use it

To reply to your brief, prepare an estimate, perform a contracted engagement, keep billing records, and — only if you accepted analytics cookies — understand which pages about our work are read.

Retention

Enquiry messages that do not become an engagement are kept for 18 months, then deleted from mailbox and files we control. Contracts, invoices, and review files for a paid engagement are kept for seven years to meet Malaysian tax and commercial record needs, then destroyed or anonymised. Host logs follow the host’s retention, typically under 90 days.

Rights

Depending on applicable law, including the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act, you may ask to access, correct, or limit use of personal data we hold, or to withdraw consent where consent was the basis. Send the request to info@webgardenhub.click. We may need to verify that the request comes from the right person. You may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner in Malaysia.

International transfers

Our office is in Johor Bahru. Email and hosting may store copies on servers outside Malaysia. Where we use such processors, we require contractual safeguards appropriate to the destination. If you write to us from another country, you understand that your message will be read in Malaysia.

We share personal data with the people named on a contracted engagement, with accountants or lawyers who need it, and with authorities when Malaysian law requires. We do not sell mailing lists.
